IERUS Wins “Best Place to Work” 2019

30 April 2019: IERUS Technologies was named as the Gold winner in the large category of the Huntsville / Madison County Chamber of Commerce “Best Places to Work” competition. The honor is based on employee feedback through anonymous surveys and administered by Quantum Workplace. This is the third time IERUS has won the award in the last four years. “This honor is really about the
employees that make IERUS an awesome place to go to every morning,” said Michael Roesch, IERUS Executive Vice President, while accepting the award. “IERUS employees and the IERUS leadership team have been working hard to maintain IERUS’s values through our growth and expansion. Captain Paul Stader, USN, Ret. Joins IERUS as Director of Battle Management Initiatives

4 March 2019: Captain Paul Stader, USN, Ret. has joined IERUS as Director of Battle Management Initiatives. In this role, Captain Stader will develop and manage IERUS’s Battle, and Systems Management programs including strategy development, program execution, and growth initiatives.

Captain Stader joined IERUS in March 2019 after 30 years of service in the U.S. Navy. Captain Stader recently led the Navy in 2018 Missile Defense and Nuclear Posture Reviews, and Navy’s global posture initiative. Through his career in the Navy Captain Stader served in various command, policy, strategic policy, and technical roles. Recent roles included OPNAV N51 (Plans, Policy, Posture), Chief of Staff at Seventh Fleet, Chief of Staff at Military Sealift Command, and Commanding Officer of USS HUE CITY (CG 66).

Captain Stader has a Master of Science in Systems Engineering (C4I) from the Navy Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

A Night Out at Pints and Pixels

26 June 2018: IERUS celebrated the start of the summer with a night out at Pints and Pixels. More than 130 of IERUS’s employees and family members gathered to enjoy time outside of the workplace enjoying food, drinks, and playing vintage arcade games.

Congressman Bradley Byrne Visits IERUS

18 June 2018: Congressman Bradley Byrne visited IERUS on Monday the 18th of June. Congressman Byrne represents Alabama’s 1st district and sits on the House Armed Services Committee. Congressman Byrne toured IERUS facilities and discussed a number of issues with IERUS leadership including workforce development and policy issues affecting IERUS. “We’ve met Congressman Byrne a number of times in Washington,” said IERUS President Jason Keen, “But we were excited to have the opportunity to show him the capability our team has built here in Huntsville. IERUS delivers innovation for our warfighters across such a large space, it’s just hard to get a handle on it without seeing it in person.”

Congressman Robert Aderholt Visits IERUS

3 April 2018: Congressman Robert Aderholt of Alabama’s 4th district and member of the House Appropriations Committee visited IERUS for a tour and discussions on policy concerns. Discussions included views on recently released reports and reviews, as well as defense related priorities and concerns of IERUS. “Discussing key priorities with the appropriators as well as those involved in policy is important in ensuring issues and concerns are fully addressed,” said IERUS Executive Vice President Michael Roesch. “ IERUS was excited Congressman Aderholt and his staff made time to visit for a facility tour and discussion on priorities related to IERUS.”

 

Congressman Mike Rogers Visits IERUS

22 February 2018: Congressman Mike Rogers of Alabama’s 3rd district and chairman of the House Armed Services Committee Strategic Forces Subcommittee visited IERUS for an update this week. IERUS updated Congressman Rogers on current priorities and issues as well as IERUS’s most recent contributions to US strategic capabilities. “IERUS was excited to host the Congressman again,” said IERUS President Dr. Jason Keen. “We are always excited to engage with Chairman Rogers and other key figures working issues relevant to IERUS’s programs. ”

 

IERUS Technologies Named “Best Places to Work” Finalist for the Sixth Straight Year

14 February 2018: IERUS Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce that the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce has named IERUS as a Finalist for the 2018 Best Places to Work. This is the Sixth year in a row IERUS has received this honor. “IERUS is happy for the recognition and excited about the prospect of being named a best place to work for the third straight year,” said Michael Roesch, IERUS Executive Vice President. “We strive to make IERUS a great place to come to work but our employees are truly what make IERUS a great company to be a part of.”

 

IERUS Wins Selected as a Prime Awardee for the Air Force’s Test & Evaluation Technologies for Ranges, Armaments & Spectrum (TETRAS) Contract

26 September 2017: The Air Force notified IERUS that it was the recipient of a prime contract on the Test & Evaluation Technologies for Ranges, Armaments & Spectrum (TETRAS) effort. Including options the contract is a 10 year effort with a $998M ceiling. The TETRAS effort will develop and apply specialized prototype systems and test equipment. Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), munitions systems, and electronic combat/countermeasures within live and virtual test parameters will be supported under this effort. “IERUS is excited to be one of the winning primes for the TETRAS effort,” said IERUS Executive Vice President Michael Roesch.  “We believe we demonstrated the value that IERUS as a company can provide to the Air Force through the proposal process and this award reflects that. We are looking forward to expanding our presence in the Eglin area and continuing to build a solid relationship with our Air Force customers.”

IERUS Hosts Congressional Staffers Representing 7 Districts

10 August 2017: IERUS was pleased to host congressional staffers from 7 districts, sharing our capability to provide value to the warfighter. Congressional staff from REP Brooks (AL), REP Franks (AZ), REP McMorris Rodgers (WA), REP Rosen (NV), REP Turner (OH), and REP Bridenstone (OK) toured IERUS’s facilities and engaged IERUS’s executive leadership on a number of issues. “It is important to engage with our representatives on issues impacting both the small business and defense communities” said IERUS President Jason Keen, and “outreach events like these provide valuable feedback to our leadership on Capitol Hill.”

IERUS Technologies is Exhibiting at the 2017 Space and Missile Defense Symposium

7 August 2017: IERUS is exhibiting at the 2017 Space and Missile Defense Symposium. In addition to IERUS, this year the display includes CYTRUS and GHOSTAR. CYTRUS is a Cyber and Intelligence DBA focusing on developing and supplying Cyber and IT professionals in a government services construct. GHOSTAR is a Virtual Reality JV developing cognitive enhancement through experimental methodologies for immersive training and situational awareness. The exhibit will also include a VR experience. The symposium is being hosted at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL from August 8 – 10.

 

Congressman Mike Rogers Visits IERUS

18 April 2017: IERUS Technologies Inc. hosted Alabama’s 3rd district Congressman Mike Rogers April 18th. Mike Rogers toured IERUS’s prototype, test, and fabrication facility and received a briefing on IERUS’s contributions to the development of national defense systems. Congressman Rogers is a senior member of the Armed Services Committee and serves as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Strategic Forces. That subcommittee shares oversight over the US Ballistic Missile Defense System, which IERUS has supported since its first contract.

“IERUS was pleased to host Congressman Rogers today and share some of our observations and concerns,” said IERUS President Jason Keen. “IERUS has a strong belief that a robust Missile Defense system is vital to our nation’s security. We were happy we had the opportunity to share IERUS’s contributions as a small, dynamic, technology focused company with Congressman Rogers.”

IERUS Technologies Named “Best Places to Work” for the Second Year in a Row

22 March 2017: For the second year in a row, IERUS was named a winner for Best Places to Work from the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce. The award is based on survey responses given by IERUS employees.  “We try to make IERUS a great place to be and this is a very moving collective endorsement of that effort” said IERUS’s Vice President of Business Operations Billy Todd.

IERUS Technologies is Exhibiting at the 2016 Space and Missile Defense Symposium

9 August 2016: IERUS can be found in Booth #917 showcasing technology 20160815_180123concepts and designs. Technologies that will be showcased include Counter Small UAS systems, various antenna designs including ultra-thin communications antennas, Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) measurement techniques, and test structures among others. The symposium is being hosted at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL from August 16 – 18.
