August 4, 2020 — The Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance (MDAA) hosted the Annual Missile Defense Kickoff Breakfast of Champions during this year’s virtual SMD Symposium. During this event, IERUS employee Elizabeth Tanner received an award from the MDAA for her contributions to the Missile Defense community.
Tanner is the lead of IERUS’s Radar Technology Innovation Cell and has been instrumental in the development and testing of BMDS radars. In the past year, her group has managed:
- radar teams for multiple CONUS and OCONUS MDA missions,
- the development of new, novel discrimination algorithms,
- and the production of tactical BMDS radar software.
Before these contributions, Elizabeth previously worked in the development of high-fidelity MDA targets. IERUS is proud to have a team member publicly recognized for her efforts in the Missile Defense community.
